First of all, we have to understand about what exactly is copywriting. Copywriting is the process of writing persuasive marketing and promotional materials that motivate people to take some form of action.

Since copywriting skill plays a massive role in literally every business. We have to know what is power words and how do we use it, because the business will be a lot more effective when we can do persuade people.

Power words in copywriting can trigger and emotional response in the reader, and we could drive their behavior to take an action just by words or sentences. Power words crank up our marketing effectiveness in two main ways, that is :

Pique Curiosity

Curiosity is one of the most difficult feelings to ignore. It is actually human nature to explore the world and find answers to unresolved questions. Some pyschologists even say that curiosity akin to hunger or thirst. That is a drive that must be satisfied. Simply put, curiosity is an urge that can’t easily be ignored. Greed is another feeling that is super hard for humans to suppress. Because greeds taps into cravings and instant satisfaction, as well as a desire to get as much as possible, which is why it can be utilized in marketing with relative ease. Take a look at this blog title example:

Ultimately, conversions won’t happen without trust. Even if we successful draw people into our ads with other types of emotion that we use in it, if we don’t have trust with a user, then it is highly unlikely they are goint to convert.

There are literally dozens of way to sneak power words into our copy, dozens of blogs that tells you hundred example of power words, and there arw countless other words and catchy terms that we can use to evoke the response you desire. So from all of power words, depens on how you use it.
